1 General Terms and Conditions
Theese terms and conditions apply to orders placed by the customer at this website. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Finnish Law.
The customer accepts the terms and conditions when choosing to use our webshop.
The customer must be over 18 years of age, or have the consent of his/hers legal guardian, to place an order. The customer commits to informing all information truthfully and is responsible for giving accurate information when placing the order.
The customer is responsible for the means of payment (credit card, bank account etc) being his/her own possession and that the person placing the order has rights to use that specific payment method.
The appearance of items and services on the website does not guarantee that the item or service is always available. We reserve the right to discontinue a product at any time.
The customer will receive an order confirmation when placing an order online. The order confirmation should be checked properly after placing the order. Order changes can be done as long as the order has not yet been picked or sent.
2 Privacy policies
Smart Riders must collect data to be able to fulfill the customers order. Smart Riders will not give out any information about the customer without the customers consent.
However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.
3 Making the order
The customer needs to fill his/her full name, adress, telephone number, delivery – and billing adress, as well as email adress.
If a company places the order, they need to further fill in their VAT number.
An order confirmation will be sent by email.
Smart Riders reserves the right to cancel an order for any reason. Smart Riders or it’s service providers are not liable for delays that occur because of a third party. All orders are accepted subject to availability of goods. If an item is out of stock we will always give an indication of when it will be available.
4 Prices
All prices are shown in euros (€) and include VAT, that is currently 24%.
5 Delivery times

Please allow 10-14 working days for delivery. We try to keep a good number of products in stock, but due to the high number of colours and sizes we offer, it is not always possible to stock every combination and some delays may occur. For customised products please allow 4-6 weeks delivery as a minimum.
Seasonable items can have longer delivery times when ordered outside of it’s season. As an example: ordering winter boots or Parlanti full chaps in June or ordering Dubarry’s Poppy shorts in December.

7 Shipping
Orders will be delivered by post or Matkahuolto (only in Finland). Purchases may also be picked up at our boutique without any extra cost. Adress: Kanervatie 11 02400 Kirkkonummi.
8 Terms of payment
You can pay by:
1) Bank transfer or credit card (all countries)
2) Klarna billing (only in Finland)
3) Pay Pal (all countries)
When paying with Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard-korteilla or Klarna-billing services, Oy Nima Med/Smart Riders acts only as provider of the services and products and deliveres the products to the customer.
Suomen Verkkomaksut Oy is in charge of the payments made in Finland by Visa, Visa Electron or MasterCard. As such the payment occurs between the customer and Suomen Verkkomaksut Oy. Suomen Verkkomaksut Oy receives the payment.

Banktransfer
All banktransfers via Suomen Verkkomaksut Oy (2122839-7) in co-operation with the Finnish banks and creditcompanies. Suomen Verkkomaksut Oy buy the transfers and pays them to Smart Riders. For the web shop customer, the service works like a normal purchase.
PayPal
You can pay by Credit card or bank transfer outside of Finland using PayPal. When paying with PayPal you agree on their terms. Pay Pal terms and conditions can be read on their website:

9 Returns
If a customer is not happy with the purchase he has 14 days to make a return claim. The customer must inform of the return via email to info@smartriders.fi, before returning the purchased goods. Returned goods are posted at the customers own expense and proof of postage should be retained until you have received your replacement goods or refund.
Items that are on sale, customized or specially ordered, can not be returned.
An item that has been damaged, is dirty or not in the same condition as when it was sent from Smart Riders, it can not be returned. All items must be returned in their original packaging or they will not entitle to a refund.
An item that is returned but has any of the faults mentioned above, will be sent back to the customer. The customer will also be in charge of the extra shipping costs.
If the item is picked up from the shop, it can not be returned (unless the customer and Smart Riders have agreed differently).
When returning an item, please send an email to inform about the return to info@smartriders.fi
The returned items can then be sent to:

10 Faulty items
If the goods are faulty the customer is entitled to a refund. The items will be sent back to Smart Riders as explained (9.). If an item brakes or does not outlive it’s warranty it can be sent back to Smart Riders for evaluation of the right for refund.
We reproduce colors as accurately as possible on our website. Variations in the colour settings on computer monitors and the limitations of colour reproduction mean a slight variation in the colour shown on the website and the actual colour of the item. Slight color variations do not entitle to a refund.
